Leaders Asking Questions: Are you asking the really big questions?

President Clinton and Pope John Paul

“What is your view of the world?” Pope John Paul asked President Clinton when he was President of the United States. From many other people, the question would be thought to be a conversation starter. When you’re the Pope and President of the United States, it is exactly the right question that should be discussed. President Clinton proceeded to answer the question with a detailed account that few people could provide.

Oftentimes, leaders will not elevate the conversation to a level befitting their position and the table they sit at. Are you asking the really big questions that make sense for your position?
