leadership training

"Peter Drucker once said, "There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all". Gary Cohen, in his theory that leadership should ask questions and not dictate, is on to something big. Leaders today need to listen to and empower staff to sift through the maze of complex yet insignificant "noise" in the business world. Listening carefully to those that touch the client is key to growing a sustainable business."

Executive Coaching Minneapolis

Leaders are often too close to a situation to gain a broader perspective. My outside perspective and experience gives clients a wider lens for viewing and identifying new possibilities.

In my role as coach, I’m helping my clients to look at things in a different way, so they’re more comfortable about making the decisions they know they need to make. For some people, decision-making is very difficult. Every bit of new information can change their mind, and paralysis sets in. I help clients to focus on the real issue, make a decision, and take action.

In some cases, a client wants to focus on a particular area, such as creating the infrastructure for growing the business. In other cases, we’re working on the integration of several pieces: communication, teamwork, financial structure, sales organization, and personal development.

Some clients need help in understanding what it means to be an entrepreneur and how that definition conflicts or complements one’s role as a spouse, mother or father.
